McKenzie River Lodge offers world class flyfishing for 5 species of sportfish. The Lake system is aproximatly 14 miles long with two major rivers flowing in (the Quartxite and the Comeback) and the McKenzie river flowing out. The McKenzie river then flows for almost 35 miles before emptying in to the famous Smallwood reservoir. Flyfishing is done primarely by wading the rivers. Depending on water levels, some fishing may be done from freighter canoe. Catch and release is particed, although smaller fish may be kept for a tasty shore lunch. See video
